Job Title: Associate Attorney – Personal Injury
Location: Torrance, CA (Option for one remote day per week after probationary period)
Salary: Base salary of $150,000+ per year, plus commission

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join their personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation and be comfortable handling a caseload of 30-40 cases from filing through trial. While trial experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. This role requires full-time presence in the Torrance office, with the option to work remotely one day per week following the probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, leading all aspects of litigation, from filing to trial.
• Develop case strategies and legal theories to optimize case outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Serve as second chair during trials when needed.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions.
• Supervise paralegals and support staff to ensure effective case management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with successful outcomes.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining client relationships with a client-centered approach.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
