Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Job Title: Associate Attorney – Personal Injury
Location: Torrance, CA (Option for one remote day per week after probationary period)
Salary: Base salary of $150,000+ per year, plus commission
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney to join their personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation and be comfortable handling a caseload of 30-40 cases from filing through trial. While trial experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. This role requires full-time presence in the Torrance office, with the option to work remotely one day per week following the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, leading all aspects of litigation, from filing to trial.
- Develop case strategies and legal theories to optimize case outcomes.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Serve as second chair during trials when needed.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions.
- Supervise paralegals and support staff to ensure effective case management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years' experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with successful outcomes.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining client relationships with a client-centered approach.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Additional Information:
