Provides collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services. Responsible for operations of assigned department(s). Provides oversight as needed; responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning. Works in a clinical capacity to facilitate smooth functioning of the department when necessary.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) of the following required:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN License, BSN or equivalent nursing experience, Wound Care Certification (e.g. CWCN, CWOCN, or WCC) and three (3) years experience in Med/Surg, ICU and/or Surgery.
- One (1) year experience in an Outpatient department leadership role required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Nursing Experience in Critical Care or Surgery preferred.
- Two (2) years wound care experience required.

- Conflict resolution - Influences others to build consensus and gain cooperation. Proactively resolves conflicts in a positive and constructive manner.
- Critical thinking – Identifies complex problems. Involves key parties, gathers pertinent data and considers various options in decision making process. Develops, evaluates and implements effective solutions.
- Communication and team building – Leads effectively with excellent verbal and written communication. Delegates and initiates/manages cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
