We are seeking an Employment Law Attorney with a salary range of $190K-$225K DOE. This remote position is based in California and requires candidates to reside in the state and hold a California Bar license. The successful candidate will report to a manager in one of the 10 offices across California, based on their location.

Responsibilities:

Represent employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.
Draft client correspondence and legal pleadings.
Make court appearances and manage legal calendars.
Conduct depositions and cross-examine medical professionals.
Negotiate settlements and proactively manage cases.
Supervise and mentor legal assistants.
Build relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
Participate in marketing events with new and existing clients.
Review files, log time into billing software, and update Practice Master.
Ensure timely client correspondence and attend client meetings.
Conduct training sessions for clients on evolving employment laws.
Stay current with employment law and statutes.
Perform additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor degree.
California Bar license.
At least 15 years of experience in employment law with school district defense experience.

Additional Information:

Standard hours: 8am-5pm, unlimited PTO, must be available as needed.
$3k quarterly bonus (non-performance-based).
Company size: 250+ employees, 100 attorneys.
