Position: Tax Manager

Salary Range: $120K - $160K

Requirements:

• Must be a CPA (mature candidates welcome, but must have recent public accounting experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience

Our client is a growing boutique CPA firm in Lakeland, FL, looking for a dynamic and self-starting leader to manage an established client base. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and have hands-on engagement with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex corporate, individual, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns for multi-state and multi-entity clients.
• Lead engagements across all phases of accounting, including tax planning and research.
• Act as a senior tax consultant, providing strategic tax guidance to clients.
• Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience with increasing responsibilities.
• CPA certification required.
• Experience supervising staff and managing client relationships.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, collaborate in a team environment, and maintain professional client interactions.
