They foster a culture of mutual respect to ensure a positive environment for both patients and staff.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join their team. While they welcome a range of specialties, they do not require a retina specialist and do not perform refractive surgery. Both full-time and part-time options with flexible scheduling are available.

  • Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, with optional surgical procedures if desired.
  • Collaborate with a full support team, including scribes, receptionists, and technicians.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational programs as needed.
  • Maintain high standards for patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification: Required, with flexibility on specialties (excluding retina).
  • Experience: Open to new graduates and experienced professionals.
  • Hospital Privileges: Required if performing surgeries; support provided for obtaining privileges.
  • Call Schedule: Optional. If performing surgeries, on-call rotation is 7 days per month. No on-call required for non-surgical roles.
  • EMR System: Experience with Modernize Medicine (EMA) preferred but not required.

Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $220,000 to $250,000 annually, plus performance bonuses.
  • Health Insurance: 70% paid by the employer, 30% by the employee (100% employee contribution for family coverage).
  • Retirement: 401(k) with 3% employer match after 1 year of employment.
  • Time Off: 1 week of sick leave, 2 weeks of PTO, and 1 week of CME.
  • Malpractice Insurance: Provided through OMIC, with the candidate responsible for tail insurance before joining.
  • Partnership Opportunity: Buyout option available for those interested in practice ownership.

Community & Demographics:

  • Serving adults aged 50 and older, with referrals for pediatric patients unless in an emergency.
  • Predominantly White American (80%) and Asian (15%), from lower to middle-class backgrounds.
  • Winchester and Woodstock are known for their friendly, community-oriented atmosphere, making them ideal for practicing medicine.

Other Considerations:

  • Research Opportunities: Available, though none currently active.
  • Quality Metrics: Emphasis on efficient patient care and timely chart completion.

Application Process: We welcome applications from U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and visa holders currently residing in the U.S. Candidates interested in full-time or part-time positions are encouraged to apply.
