Our client is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Attorney specializing in insurance defense, possessing at least 5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate must hold a valid license to practice law in Texas and maintain good standing with the Texas Bar. Compliance with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements is also mandatory. The role is full-time, based in Dallas, TX, with a competitive salary ranging from $175k to $200k.

Primary Duties:

• Defend clients in a variety of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Formulate and implement case strategies from initial stages through to trial or settlement.
• Participate in pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities, such as depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Keep clients informed with regular updates and provide sound legal advice throughout their cases.
• Work in tandem with fellow attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for effective case management.
• Ensure meticulous and timely maintenance of case records and documentation.
• Stay informed on changes and developments in insurance defense law and meet all CLE requirements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, in-good-standing membership with the Texas Bar.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of insurance defense.
• Demonstrated capability to manage a substantial caseload and perform well under pressure.
• Strong skills in analysis, research, and writing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail with superior organizational skills.
• Proficient in utilizing legal research tools and case management software.
• Commitment to continual professional development and adherence to CLE requirements.
