Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner specializing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) to lead and manage audit engagements for our AEC clients. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your financial expertise, industry knowledge, and leadership capabilities to deliver top-quality audit services. This position requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, exceptional client communication, and a proactive approach to staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Leadership: Lead and manage audit engagements for AEC clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Control: Oversee and review audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor in financial matters and understanding clients' business objectives.
  • Insight and Guidance: Provide strategic insights to enhance clients' financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide audit teams, fostering high standards of service delivery and professional growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other partners and managers to promote a collaborative and effective working environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with AEC engagements, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all audit activities comply with relevant auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
  • Business Development: Engage in business development activities, including client acquisition, relationship building, and expanding services within the AEC sector.
  • Service Expansion: Identify opportunities to enhance services for existing clients and explore new business opportunities within the AEC group.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Uphold a strong commitment to quality and excellence in audit services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
  • Experience: At least 12 years of extensive auditing experience with a focus on AEC clients.
  • Expertise: In-depth understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Management: Proven ability to manage multiple audit engagements and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with Big 4 firms is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Competitive annual salary ranging from $250,000 to $500,000+, commensurate with experience.
